In 2017, Michelle entered the world of education, where she taught first and second grades. This opened her eyes to a view of how children think. She has always been an avid writer since she was in grade school, but she attributes her recent writing to her time in the classroom. Reading books from all topics and aligning reading skills with classroom lessons is what motivated her to begin writing again. She recently transitioned to a role in higher education, but still loves writing for kids.
